Meet Britt
Hi, my name is Britt Robinson. Originally hailing from Minneapolis, MN, I embarked on a career path that led me to some unexpected places.
Equipped with a master's degree in Global Gender Policy and Asian Studies and proficiency in languages like Korean, Chinese and Norwegian I soon found myself at the heart of an underground railroad, a historical fashion network, oh and of course, a global communications career!
A Theatrical Odyssey
For a decade, I immersed myself in the captivating world of entertainment. From Broadway to the enchanting realms of Disney and various London theatre companies, I played a role in bringing magic to life. While the spotlight was exhilarating, it was during this time that I cultivated a deep appreciation for storytelling and the art of connecting with audiences.
From the Spotlight to Underground Railroads
Life took a significant turn when I found myself in the vibrant city of Los Angeles. There, I became a part of Liberty in North Korea, an NGO dedicated to orchestrating a modern-day underground railroad through China to aid North Koreans seeking freedom from oppression. This experience forever altered my perspective, highlighting the importance of advocacy and amplifying the voices of the marginalized.
A D.C. Detour
Intrigued by the potential of policy to drive change, I made my way to the bustling heart of the nation's capital, Washington, D.C. It was here that I pursued my master's degree in Global Gender Policy and Asian Studies, discovering the critical role that communication plays in making policy and advocacy effective.
Wanderlust and Historical Curiosity
Beyond my professional life, I'm a fervent traveler, always seeking to broaden my horizons and embrace the beauty of diverse cultures. My wanderlust has taken me to far-flung corners of the globe, each journey enriching my understanding of the world and its myriad of perspectives.
And, yes, I have a penchant for history, especially when it comes to historical clothing recreation. There's something captivating about donning the attire of yesteryears and experiencing history in a tangible way.
