ACESO

Web Design + UX + Copywriting + SEO

Client: Aceso — Community Gender Action

Project: Website Redesign

Brief: Aceso, a Ugandan nonprofit dedicated to empowering women through health education, financial literacy, and skills training, underwent a significant transformation. Transitioning from its former identity, "I am A Girl," to "Aceso — Community Gender Action," the organization sought a comprehensive brand and website overhaul to better reflect its mission and attract partners.

What we did: & Daughters’ collaboration with Aceso's board of directors and Executive Director led to the creation of a fresh brand identity. The Executive Director's hand-drawn logo was the cornerstone of our rebranding efforts. From there, & Daughters crafted a new branding guide, selecting colors and fonts that resonated with Aceso's vision. We revamped their digital and print materials to align with this new identity. For the website, we designed a user-centered experience from the ground up. This included developing a new UX sitemap, building wireframes, and creating a visually appealing and navigable website layout. Our team also focused on crafting engaging copy, optimizing the site for SEO, and ensuring a seamless web flow. The result is a vibrant online platform that effectively showcases Aceso's impactful work and the communities it supports in Uganda.
